Every sitter goes through a three-step process: a video interview, a nationally certified background check (criminal + sex offender registry), and an in-home trial visit that our team supervisors shadow. We also require pet first aid certification within 6 months of hiring.

We handle it every day. During the meet and greet we'll go over medications, dosage timing, medical history, and your vet's contact info. We build a detailed care profile and match you with a sitter experienced in your pet's specific needs.

Most clients give us a spare key or door code, which we store securely and only give to your assigned sitter. We can also work with a lockbox. All entries are logged with a timestamp so you always know when we arrive and leave.

We will always try to reach you first. If we can't and it's urgent, we'll go to the emergency vet you listed in your care profile. Every sitter is certified in pet first aid, and our company liability insurance covers emergency vet costs up to $1,000.

Absolutely — and we insist on it. A free 20-minute meet and greet in your home is the first step, every time. Your pet needs to feel comfortable with their sitter, and you should feel 100% confident before we ever hold a leash or a key.

We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle through our secure booking app. For regular walks, 24-hour notice is plenty. For overnights or holiday periods, we recommend 1–2 weeks ahead — those fill up fast. Same-day bookings are sometimes available.
