Every caregiver holds current pediatric CPR and first-aid certification (verified, not self-reported). Before a placement begins, we provide caregivers with your child's medical information, allergy list, emergency contacts, and nearest hospital. Our $1M liability policy covers medical incidents during care hours.
Absolutely. You'll interview your matches via video or in person before any trial day is scheduled. The trial day itself — a full paid day in your home while you're present — is built into every placement. You never commit until you're confident.
For long-term placements, caregivers are household employees of the family — which is the industry-standard, legally correct structure. We provide payroll setup guidance and recommended resources. For date-night/casual bookings, sitters operate as independent contractors with our platform coverage.
You're never locked in. If the placement isn't working — personality, schedule, approach — contact your Family Coordinator. Within the first 90 days, we provide a free re-match. After 90 days, a reduced re-placement fee of $395 applies. We have never left a family without care.
Yes. We have a dedicated pool of caregivers with experience in ASD, ADHD, sensory processing needs, and physical/developmental differences. During your intro call, share your child's specific needs and we'll only present caregivers with verified, relevant experience. Some placements take a few extra days to match well — we think that's worth it.
